To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;

ప్రధాన సంగీతకారుని కోసం దావీదు కీర్తన ఆపద సమయంలో యెహోవా నీకు జవాబిస్తాడు గాక. యాకోబు దేవుని నామం నిన్ను కాపాడుతుంది గాక.

Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;

పరిశుద్ధ స్థలంలోనుంచి ఆయన నీకు సహాయం చేస్తాడు గాక. సీయోనులోనుంచి నిన్ను ఆదుకుంటాడు గాక.

Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.

ఆయన నీ అర్పణలు జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకుని, నీ దహన బలులు అంగీకరిస్తాడు గాక.

Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.

నీ హృదయవాంఛను తీర్చి నీ ప్రణాళికలన్నీ నెరవేరుస్తాడు గాక.

We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.

అప్పుడు నీ రక్షణను బట్టి మేము ఆనందిస్తాము. దేవా, నీ పేరట జెండా ఎత్తుతాము. నీ అభ్యర్ధనలన్నీ యెహోవా మంజూరు చేస్తాడు గాక.

Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.

యెహోవా తన అభిషిక్తుణ్ణి రక్షిస్తాడని నాకిప్పుడు తెలిసింది. రక్షించగల తన కుడిచేతి బలంతో తన పవిత్రాకాశంలోనుంచి అతనికి జవాబిస్తాడు.

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

కొందరు రథాలను, కొందరు గుర్రాలను నమ్ముకుంటారు. కాని మనం మన దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు మొర పెడతాము.

They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.

వాళ్ళు కుంగి నేల మీద పడిపోతారు, మనం లేచి తిన్నగా నిలిచి ఉంటాము!

Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.

యెహోవా, రాజును రక్షించు. మేము మొరపెట్టినప్పుడు మాకు సహాయం చెయ్యి.
