A Song of degrees of David. I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

దావీదు రాసిన యాత్రల కీర్తన పదండి, యెహోవా మందిరానికి వెళ్దాం, అని ప్రజలు నాతో చెప్పినప్పుడు నేను సంతోషించాను.

Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

యెరూషలేమా, మా పాదాలు నీ ప్రవేశ ద్వారాల వద్ద నిలబడుతున్నాయి.

Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:

యెరూషలేమును కుదురైన నగరంగా కట్టారు.

Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.

యెహోవా నామానికి కృతజ్ఞతాస్తుతులు చెల్లించడానికి యెహోవా గోత్రాలు అక్కడికి ఎక్కిపోవాలని వారికి శాసనం ఉంది.

For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

నాయకులు అక్కడ సింహాసనాలపై కూర్చుంటారు. అవి దావీదు రాజవంశం సింహాసనాలు.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

యెరూషలేము క్షేమంగా ఉండాలని ప్రార్థన చేయండి. యెరూషలేమా, నిన్ను ప్రేమించేవాళ్ళు వృద్ది చెందుతారు.

Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

నీ సరిహద్దులు ప్రశాంతంగా ఉండాలి. నీ పట్టణాల్లో శాంతి వర్ధిల్లుతూ ఉండాలి.

For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

మీకు శాంతి సమాధానాలు కలుగుతాయి, అని నా సహోదరులను, నా స్నేహితులను దీవిస్తాను.

Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.

మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా మందిరం కోసం, నీకు మేలు కలగడం కోసం ప్రార్థన చేస్తాను.
