1 Corinthians 3

And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

సోదరులారా, ఆత్మసంబంధులైన మనుషులతో మాట్లాడే విధంగా నేను మీతో మాట్లాడ లేకపోయాను. శరీర స్వభావం గలవారితోనూ, క్రీస్తులో పసిబిడ్డలతోనూ మాట్లాడే విధంగా మీతో మాట్లాడవలసి వచ్చింది.

I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

మిమ్మల్ని పాలతోనే పెంచాను గాని బలమైన ఆహారం తినిపించలేదు. ఇప్పుడు కూడా మీరు దాన్ని తీసుకునే స్థితిలో లేరు.

For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

ఎందుకంటే మీరింకా శరీర స్వభావంతోనే ఉన్నారు. మీ మధ్య అసూయ, కలహం ఉన్నాయి. దాన్ని బట్టి మీరు శరీర స్వభావం కలిగి మానవ రీతిగా నడచుకొనేవారే కదా?

For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

మీలో ఒకడేమో “నేను పౌలుకు చెందినవాణ్ణి,” మరొకడు “నేను అపొల్లోకు చెందిన వాణ్ణి,” అని చెబుతూ ఉంటే మీరు శరీర స్వభావులే కదా

Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

అపొల్లో ఎవరు? పౌలు ఎవరు? ఇద్దరూ పరిచారకులే గదా. ఇద్దరికీ ప్రభువు ఇచ్చిన బాధ్యతలకు అనుగుణంగా వారి ద్వారా మీరు నమ్మారు.

I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

నేను నాటాను, అపొల్లో నీరు పోశాడు. అయితే దాన్ని నీరు పోశాడు చేసింది దేవుడే.

So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

కాబట్టి పెరిగేలా చేసిన దేవునిలోనే ఉంది గాని, నాటేవాడిలో గాని, నీరు పోసేవాడిలో గాని ఏమీ లేదు.

Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

నాటే వాడూ నీరు పోసేవాడూ ఒక్కటే. ఒక్కొక్కరు కష్టపడిన కొద్దీ ప్రతిఫలం పొందుతారు.

For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.

మేము దేవునితో కలిసి పని చేసే వాళ్ళం. మీరు దేవుని పొలం, దేవుని కట్టడం.

According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

దేవుడు నాకు దయచేసిన కృప వలన నేను నైపుణ్యం గల నిర్మాణకునిగా పునాది వేశాను. మరొకడు దాని మీద నిర్మిస్తున్నాడు. అయితే దాని మీద కడుతున్న ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ తాము ఏ విధంగా కడుతున్నారో జాగ్రత్తగా చూసుకోవాలి.

For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

పునాది యేసు క్రీస్తే. వేసిన ఈ పునాది కాక, వేరే పునాది ఎవరూ వేయలేరు.

Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

ఈ పునాది మీద ఎవరైనా బంగారం, వెండి, విలువైన రాళ్ళు, చెక్క, చెత్త పరకలు, ఇలాటి వాటితో కడితే

Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

వారి వారి పని బయట పడుతుంది. ఆ రోజు దాన్ని స్పష్టంగా వెల్లడి చేస్తుంది. ఎందుకంటే అది అగ్నివల్ల బయట పడుతుంది. ప్రతి ఒక్కరి పనినీ మంటలే పరీక్షిస్తాయి.

If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

పునాది మీద ఎవరి పని నిలబడుతుందో అతనికి ప్రతిఫలం దొరుకుతుంది.

If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

ఎవరి పని కాలిపోతుందో అతనికి నష్టం వస్తుంది. అతడు తప్పించుకుంటాడు గానీ మంటల్లో నుండి తప్పించుకొన్నట్టుగా ఉంటాడు.

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

మీరు దేవుని ఆలయమనీ దేవుని ఆత్మ మీలో నివసిస్తున్నాడనీ మీకు తెలియదా?

If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

దేవుని ఆలయాన్ని ఎవరైనా పాడు చేస్తే దేవుడు అతణ్ణి పాడు చేస్తాడు. దేవుని ఆలయం పవిత్రమైనది. ఆ ఆలయం మీరే.

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

ఎవరూ తనను తాను మోసగించుకోవద్దు. మీలో ఎవరైనా ఈ లోకరీతిగా తాను జ్ఞానం గలవాడిని అనుకుంటే, జ్ఞానం పొందడం కోసం అతడు తెలివి తక్కువవాడు కావాలి.

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

ఈ లోక జ్ఞానం దేవుని దృష్టికి తెలివి తక్కువతనమే. “జ్ఞానులను వారి కుయుక్తుల్లోనే ఆయన పట్టుకుంటాడు” అనీ,

And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

“జ్ఞానుల ఆలోచనలు వ్యర్థం అని ప్రభువుకు తెలుసు” అనీ రాసి ఉంది కదా.

Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;

కాబట్టి మనుషులను బట్టి ఎవరూ అతిశయించ కూడదు. ఎందుకంటే అన్నీ మీవే.

Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;

పౌలైనా, అపొల్లో అయినా, కేఫా అయినా, లోకమైనా, జీవమైనా, మరణమైనా, ఇప్పుడున్నవైనా, రాబోయేవైనా, అన్నీ మీవే.

And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.

మీరు క్రీస్తుకు చెందినవారు, క్రీస్తు దేవునికి చెందినవాడు.
